JULIAN DUXFIELD, has been a mountaineer and climber for all his adult life with climbs throughout the year in the UK, but also has extended climbing trips abroad. Early in his working life he worked for the Outward Bound, teaching young people to climb and walk safely in the hills and he has a passion sharing Britain’s mountaineering heritage which can be an inspiration for people of all ages and backgrounds. His career was as a Human Resource professional, having been an HR Director in a range of organisations and sectors including Unilever, the civil service, the security industry, and latterly for the University of Oxford. He is currently also a non-executive director of an NHS Trust and provides coaching for senior staff in a range of organisations.
